A unique opportunity has arisen for a Production Manager to join our diverse, dynamic, and growing organisation in this key managerial position. Based at our head office in Pooraka, the successful applicant will be responsible for all onsite production outputs and manufacturing operations.
The successful applicant will manage performance, quality, safety and production deliverables for both our stainless-steel fabrication factory and also our pre-cast concrete manufacturing plant

Skills and Ability Requirements
We are looking for an individual with the following essential & proven skills and ability;
- Provide leadership, direction, and guidance to production personnel and supervisors;
- Provide management oversight for the Pre-Cast Concrete and Stainless-Steel Production teams and direct them accordingly to ensure targets are met whilst tracking against established key performance indicators (KPI’s);
- Complete daily inspection test plans (ITP’s) to maintain product quality standards;
- Drive improvements to manufacturing processes to ensure safe, efficient and sustainable operations;
- Supervise and train existing and new production staff;
- Develop and co-ordinate safe working practices and ensure they are maintained in the Production areas at all times;
- Drive continual improvement to safety, environmental and quality standards within the workplace and implement relevant procedures in line with best practise management;
- Ensure production performance is achieved within requisite timeframes and allocated budgets;
- Prepare and maintain production daily, weekly and monthly production reports (resourcing requirements/inventory tracking/Production Efficiency) and other requested reports for management as required;
- Ensure safe and timely stock management and management of space allocation, Plant and Equipment, stock transfer and dealing with non-conforming products;
- Manage servicing requirements for all production tooling, plant and equipment;
- Develop relationships with supply chain partners, which will include periodic meetings with suppliers to maintain a high level of efficient communication;
- Participate in regular meetings with senior management to provide updates on production operations; and
- Develop initiatives to refine and improve processes, personnel and ensure that appropriate Quality Reports are raised when quality issues arise.

Educational and Experience Requirements
The successful applicant will be required to have a:
- minimum of six years of relevant work experience; or a bachelor's degree or higher qualifications relevant to Production Management, Project Management or Engineering
- High attention to detail;
- An understanding of safety and quality standards and good manufacturing practices;
- good understanding or modern best practice management techniques to achieve optimal outputs; and the ability to develop a positive can-do culture.
