INNOVATIVE DESIGN
Our modular floating boom the Urban Floating Containment Boom is designed specifically to control and contain debris, free floating hydrocarbons and aquatic weeds in many types of waterways including ponds, rivers, lakes, channels and canals. The floating Boom will control and contain the migration of noxious water weeds, urban litter and debris within your waterbody.
The Urban Floating Containment Boom is suitable for permanent or temporary installations and is manufactured from durable, robust high quality materials such as UV Resistant HDPE, UPVC vinyls with stainless steel fixings and ballast chains. All materials are carefully selected for their intended purpose.
MODULAR SYSTEM
The Urban Floating Containment Boom is a modular boom system consisting of easily connecting 1.2m increments. Easily joined on site it can be tailored to suit your exact overall length with varying stainless steel 316 anchor and fixings incorporated into the design specific to your proposed site requirements. Our experienced team will work collaboratively with you to design, manufacture and install the most appropriate system for your site.
OPTIONAL SILT AND TURBIDITY CURTAINS
At Urban Asset Solutions we are able to manufacture the Urban Floating Containment Boom with silt and turbidity curtains of varying depths and material ranging from 1500 – 200 micron depending on the application. Anchoring systems and curtain ballast chains will vary for each site application.
OPTIONAL ADJUSTMENT FOR FLOATING BOOM CURTAINS
Reefing lines, also known as furling lines, are an excellent addition to silt and turbidity curtains for areas where varying water depths or uneven pond floors require adjustment to the individual curtains. These reefing lines allow each curtain module to be adjusted to suit varying depths.
OPTIONAL SKIRT DEPTH
At Urban Asset Solutions we can design your floating boom with optional skirt depths depending of the application and target pollutant containment required.
